Trevor Whiting, Attorney

Since beginning with the Dana Law Firm in 2008, Trevor has focused his practice on trust administration, probate, and estate/gift tax planning and compliance.  Trevor’s strong background in tax law is beneficial in addressing the tax issues that arise while administering a trust or estate.  After law school, Trevor worked in the New York City office of Deloitte Tax LLP where he assisted clients with complex tax transactions.  While working for Deloitte, Trevor began taking classes at New York University towards a Masters of Law degree in Taxation (LL.M.).  His coursework at NYU has focused on issues related to estate and gift taxation and income taxation of trusts and estates.  In addition to addressing the technical aspects of effectively administering a trust or estate, Trevor understands the importance of assisting clients receive quality service during what can be a very difficult time in life.

Prior to law school, Trevor attended Arizona State University where he earned a B.S. degree in Economics in 2001.  After completing his degree at ASU, Trevor worked for Prudential Relocation as a Compensation Analyst.  During his two plus years with Prudential, Trevor earned an M.B.A. degree from the University of Phoenix.

When not working or attending class, Trevor loves spending time with his wife and four daughters.  He enjoys spending time outdoors with them and tries to spend as much time as possible in the White Mountains.  Trevor is an avid sports fan and, having grown up in Arizona, can always be found rooting for ASU, the Cardinals, Suns, and Diamondbacks.
